I spoke with multiple agents at Choice Hotels that told me they could see the original reservation and where the hotel changed the rate without my knowledge on 9/12. I made the reservation on 9/7 and then received an email that they changed the rate on 9/27. I've spent at least 5 hours on the phone with Choice Hotels customer service and got the hotel manager involved twice with no resolution. The hotel is great but I gave it one star since they didn't honor my original reservation.
